A little about me:
I was born and raised in Georgia and moved to Texas in pre-teen years. I graduated college with a Bachelor of Science from Texas Tech University (Wreck ‘em!)- After graduation, I took a job working for a “damn good” taco quick service restraint where I would quickly climb the ladder to reach General Manager & eventually partner. During this period of my life, I would find myself pregnant & life got REAL, overnight. A precious baby boy delivered and a promotion to follow would send me into a spiral of burnout & postpartum that made me reevaluate EVERYTHING! I parted ways with my employer & began a journey of self discovery and Reconciliation Furniture was born.
I began painting furniture and diving into DIY remodel projects to keep me busy until I was ready to start the career search process which revealed a passion for creativity that I didn’t even know what inside me.
What began as a creative outlet to pass time quickly became much more!
Reconciliation Furniture has become much more than just a furniture restoration company. My dream for the Reconciliation brand is to empower, educate and encourage others to create positive change in their lives.
The Reconciliation Inspiration blog was created so that I can help others clear the hurdles that I myself stumbled on when starting my business but to also provide resources to establish peace in mind, body & spirit.
